RR vs GT IPL 2026: Rajasthan Royals look to down Gujarat Titans in Pink Promise match - players, standings, stats

With the race for the IPL 2026 playoffs entering a crucial phase, Rajasthan Royals roll out the red carpet for Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, on Saturday.

The RR vs GT IPL 2026 match on May 9 will start at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be available to watch on live streaming and live telecast.

This will also be RR’s third annual “Pink Promise Match” - an initiative dedicated to driving women-led transformation across Rajasthan.

As part of the campaign, the Royals will once again take the field in a special all-pink jersey, designed by 19-year-old Samiksha Rameshwar Mundada after her entry was selected from over 8,500 submissions through the Royals HunaRR Manch contest.

Led by the Royal Rajasthan Foundation, the Pink Promise initiative links on-field action with real-world impact: for every six hit during the match, six homes in the Sambhar will be electrified using solar power.

Over the past two editions, the campaign has already helped power 780 homes across underserved communities.

RR and GT crossed paths in Ahmedabad earlier this season with the Royals coming out on top eventually after Tushar Deshpande’s last over heroics.

Overall, the Royals have hit a bit of a rough patch of late, managing two wins in their last five matches after a strong start to the season.

GT, on the other hand, head into the fixture with momentum on their side after winning their last three matches this campaign.

Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans players

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, with 404 runs in 10 games, has been the Royals’ top scorer in IPL 2026 and the teenager will be hoping to bounce back after a rare blip against DC in the last game.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel have also contributed with the bat this season, notching 312 and 290 runs, respectively, in the ongoing campaign.

Despite RR losing to DC in their last match, RR captain Riyan Parag returned to form during the fixture with a brilliant 90 and will hope to sustain the momentum.
