At its core, RRF embraces the ethos that women are inherently empowered and with the right opportunities, can overcome barriers to drive transformative societal impact.
#PinkPromise is a joint initiative by RR and RRF to leverage cricket for women-led transformation in rural Rajasthan. The #PinkPromise match against Gujarat Titans on 9th May aims to amplify RR's efforts beyond the boundary to the inspirational and empowered women from rural India. The Rajasthan Royals team will wear all-pink kits featuring the names of female grassroots leaders with whom RRF works.
The Pink Promise Initiative has resulted in the solar electrification of 980 homes which were previously in the dark.
Since then, we were delighted to see the Pink Promise match get a mention from Amitabh Bachchan on India's prime time game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
This year’s jersey design was chosen through the Royals HunaRR Manch contest. The winning jersey design - created by 19-year-old Samiksha Rameshwar Mundada from Nashik - was selected from over 8,500 submissions nationwide.
The all-pink jersey includes solar-inspired patterns and the names of women supported by the Royal Rajasthan Foundation. The design reflects the campaign's core message - "Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai.”
