Vaibhav, who represents Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League, finished as the highest run-scorer in the five-match India U19 vs England U19 Youth ODI 2025 series.

He amassed 355 runs in five matches at an average of 71.00 and a staggering strike rate of 174.01, recording scores of 48, 45, 86, 143 and 33 in the process.

Vaibhav’s 143 off 78 balls in the fourth Youth ODI made him the youngest centurion in the format’s history.

The 14-year-old scored his century off just 52 balls, making it the fastest century ever in U19 Men’s ODIs.

He also scored 56 in the second innings of the first multi-day match against England. Vaibhav made his Men’s Youth Test debut against Australia U-19 last year and scored the second-fastest hundred in the history of the format in the match.

The prodigious teenager reached the three-figure mark against Australia off just 56 balls, putting him second overall only behind England’s Moeen Ali, who smashed a 56-ball ton in 2005.

Earlier this year, Vaibhav took the cricketing world by storm when he made his IPL debut against Lucknow Super Giants at the age of 14 years and 23 days.

Nine days later, Vaibhav became the youngest centurion in Indian Premier League history after smashing a 35-ball 100 against Gujarat Titans.

He finished IPL 2025 with 252 runs in seven matches at a blistering strike rate of 206.56, which earned him the Super Striker of the Season award.
