The Rajasthan Royals will look to make it three wins on the bounce when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2026 Eliminator at the New International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Wednesday.
Live streaming and live telecast of the SRH vs RR IPL 2026 Eliminator match scheduled to start on May 27 at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) will be available to watch in India.
The Royals enter the clash against the Sunrisers after rising to the occasion and beating the Mumbai Indians by 30 runs in a must-win game in their last league phase encounter.
An all-round performance by Jofra Archer and valuable contributions from the RR middle order helped them post a competitive total against MI before the bowlers came to the fore and helped guide the Royals into the IPL 2026 playoffs.
Wednesday’s Eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad marks the Royals’ seventh appearance in the IPL playoffs and first since the 2024 season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are also in good form and enter the Eliminator having won their last two matches on the trot.
There will be interesting storylines in play too during the crunch tie. Rajasthan Royals have not won against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last six IPL outings with RR’s last success against SRH coming back in April 2023.
However, one stat that works in RR’s favour is their record in New Chandigarh. The Royals have never tasted defeat in their three outings at the New International Cricket Stadium since it became an IPL venue back in 2024.
SRH, meanwhile, have won one and lost one at the venue.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals players
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been the Royals’ main man with the bat this season, notching 583 runs at an average of 41.64 and a strike rate of 232.27 to top the RR’s top-scorer charts in IPL 2026.
Sooryavanshi made a 37-ball 103 against SRH earlier this season in a losing cause but will be looking to emulate his performance with the bat once again in the Eliminator.
Dhruv Jurel has also showcased his consistency with the bat this season and is RR’s second-highest scorer with 458 runs in 14 games at an average of 38.17 and strike rate of 149.67. This has been his best-ever scoring season in the IPL.
Yashasvi Jaiswal will also be in focus with the opener boasting of a fantastic record in Mullanpur. In his three IPL matches at the venue, Jaiswal has accumulated 157 runs at an average of over 50.
Among the bowlers, Jofra Archer has led the attack with aplomb, picking up 21 scalps with 14 matches at an 21.71 and an economy of 8.76.
Brijesh Sharma is second on RR’s wicket-taking charts this season with 13 scalps, while Nandre Burger has also chipped in with 11 wickets.
