Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja and Dhruv Jurel will look to make their mark for India when they face Sri Lanka in a two-match SL vs IND Test 2026 series, starting at the Galle International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja and Dhruv Jurel, all of whom were a part of the Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2026 campaign, have been named in India’s 15-member squad for the two Tests.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel are yet to play a Test match in Sri Lanka. However, Yashasvi did score a quickfire 46-ball 61 in the second innings of India’s warm-up match against Sri Lanka Cricket XI last week.
The 24-year-old Yashasvi, who is one of just six Indian batters to have scored a century in all formats for the country, will be eager to build on his knock from the warm-up game in Colombo.
Like Yashasvi, Dhruv Jurel is yet to play a Test in the island nation and will be hoping to make an impact if given the chance having missed out with scores of 1 and 17 in the warm-up match.
Meanwhile, veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored a patient 63 off 117 balls in the first innings of the warm-up match and also took four wickets across both innings to help India secure a six-wicket win.
Ravindra Jadeja boasts plenty of experience of Sri Lankan soil having played seven Test matches during which he has scored 326 runs at an average of 65.20 against the Lankans.
His highest Test score of an unbeaten 175 also came against them in 2022 and the experienced all-rounder also boasts an impressive bowling record against Sri Lanka, claiming 33 wickets at an average of 23.73.
