Rajasthan Royals have hit the most powerplay sixes in the IPL 2025 league stage amongst all 10 teams.
The Royals have registered a whopping 57 sixes over 14 matches so far. Their tally puts them 14 maximums ahead of the next best team Kolkata Knight Riders, who struck 43 sixes, over the course of their campaign.
Overall, the Royals hit 146 sixes during the league stage. Only Lucknow Super Giants, who smashed 152 maximums, have managed more.
The primary architects of the Royals’ belligerent six-hitting in the powerplay overs were their opening batters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Of the 57 sixes hit by Rajasthan Royals in the first six overs of matches in IPL 2025, 22 came off Yashasvi Jaiswal’s bat. He hit a total of 28 maximums for Rajasthan in the league stage.
Jaiswal, in fact, is also the batter who scored the most runs in the powerplay in IPL 2025. He made 369 runs at an average of 61.50 and a strike rate of 177.40 in the first six overs of the innings in the league stage.

Meanwhile, teenage prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi opened his IPL account by hitting a six off the very first ball he faced in his debut match against Lucknow Super Giants.
Despite playing just seven matches for RR in his debut campaign, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hit 14 sixes in the powerplay overs and 24 overall.
He also equalled Murali Vijay’s record for hitting the most sixes in a single innings in the IPL when he smashed 11 maximums against Gujarat Titans during his historic 38-ball 101.
Skipper Sanju Samson and vice-captain Riyan Parag hit seven sixes each in the powerplay, while Nitish Rana also chipped in with five maximums in the powerplay overs.
