Delhi-born Nitish Rana is well-regarded for his consistency in domestic cricket. The stylish southpaw is also a two-time IPL winner with different teams. Nitish Rana made his first-class debut in 2015, ending the season as Delhi’s top scorer with 557 runs in the Ranji Trophy. Nitish Rana entered the IPL fray in 2016 with the Mumbai Indians but his breakthrough came in IPL 2017 as he scored 333 runs and played a crucial role in MI's title-winning campaign. Acquired by Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2018, Nitish Rana established himself as a key player in KKR’s line-up for the next six years, contributing heavily with the bat in the middle order and occasional off-spin. He also captained the KKR side in the 2022 and 2023 IPL seasons before vacating the spot for Shreyas Iyer during KKR’s 2024 title-winning campaign, where he served as the vice-captain but played only two matches. Nitish Rana, who has played for India in both ODIs and T20Is and boasts over 2500 runs in the IPL, will be plying his trade with the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. He has scored several half-centuries in the IPL while his handy off-spin has yielded a few wickets.
