A trio of Rajasthan Royals players - Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel and Tushar Deshpande - could be in action when the Indian cricket team face India A in a four-day intra-squad match in Beckenham on Friday.

The intra-squad match will be played behind closed doors and will not be available for telecast or live stream. It will start at 2:30 PM (IST).

After the two unofficial Tests between India A and England Lions recently, the intra-squad match will act as the final preparatory game for India’s upcoming five-match Test series against England, which will begin from June 20.

It is the senior team’s only practice match before the start of the tour. The India vs India A intra-squad match will not carry first-class status.

Tushar Deshpande is in line to feature for the India A team. He took three wickets for India A in the second unofficial Test against England Lions to complete 100 first-class wickets in his career.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel played in both the unofficial Tests between India A and England Lions.

Dhruv Jurel struck three successive fifties against England Lions. He made 94 and 53 in the first unofficial Test before scoring 52 in the first innings of the second match of the series.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was also amongst the runs, smashing a 60-ball 64 in the second innings of the first unofficial Test.

Unlike Tushar Deshpande, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel are part of both the India A and the Indian senior team squad for the tour of England and can represent either team in the intra-squad match.
