Three Rajasthan Royals players - opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, wicket-keeper batter Dhruv Jurel and pacer Tushar Deshpande have been named in the India A squad for the upcoming tour of England.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named the squad on Friday. The 23-year-old Dhruv Jurel has also been chosen as the vice-captain of the side.
As part of the tour, the India A team will play two first-class matches against the England Lions at Canterbury and Northampton scheduled on May 30 and June 6, respectively.
The tour will conclude with an intra-squad match against the senior Indian men’s cricket team in Beckenham on June 13.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is coming off a sensational 2024 season in national colours. His tally of 1478 runs is the second-most by an Indian and the most by an Indian opener in any calendar year.
He ended the year as the second-highest scorer in red ball cricket behind England’s Joe Root, who scored 1556 runs from 17 matches.
Scoring at an average of 54.74 and a strike rate of almost 70, Jaiswal hit 36 sixes in 2024, a new world record for a calendar year. He was later named in the ICC Men's Test Team of the Year 2024.
The southpaw has been in inspiring form in the IPL 2025 as well and is the Royals’ top scorer with 473 runs in 12 matches. He has scored five half-centuries this season.
Dhruv Jurel, meanwhile, has featured in four Test matches so far - three against England and one against Australia - and boasts of a highest score of 90 against England in Ranchi. He currently averages 40.40 in red ball cricket.
He also made a strong impression during an unofficial Test against Australia A in Melbourne last year, scoring 80 and 68. Jurel made his international debut in a T20I against Zimbabwe last year.
Jurel has contributed with a handy 249 runs in his 12 outings in IPL 2025.
Deshpande, meanwhile, has played two T20Is for the senior Indian team, with both his appearances coming against Zimbabwe last year. He has also picked up six wickets in eight games for RR in IPL 2025.
