The five-match England vs India 2025 Test series, also known as the Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy, will begin at Headingley, Leeds, on June 20.

Live streaming and telecast of ENG vs IND Test matches will be available in India, with daily coverage starting at 3:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).

The series also kicks off the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-2027 cycle for both teams.

In the last WTC cycle, the Indian cricket team finished third with nine wins from 19 matches while England ended fifth with 11 victories in 22 Tests.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel, both of whom represent Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League, are in the Indian squad for the series.

Jaiswal finished the 2023-25 WTC cycle as the second-highest run-getter with 1,798 runs in 19 Tests, only behind England’s Joe Root (1,968 in 22 matches).

Since his Test debut in 2023, Jaiswal has become a mainstay in India’s red-ball line-up. His 391 runs in the 2024 Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia included a brilliant century in Perth and two half-centuries. He continued his good form in IPL 2025, finishing as the Rajasthan Royals’ top scorer with 559 runs from 14 games.

Jurel, too, is enjoying a purple patch. The wicketkeeper-batter impressed on debut during the home series against England last year, scoring 190 runs in four innings at an average of 63.33.

His standout performance came in Ranchi, where he scored a resilient 90 and stitched a match-turning 76-run stand with Kuldeep Yadav. He followed that up with an unbeaten 39 to steer India home from a tricky 120/5, earning the Player of the Match award.

Jurel has also been consistent for India A, scoring 94 and 53 in the first unofficial Test against England Lions, and piling up another half-century in the second in a lead-up to the main event.

Jurel also had a decent IPL season, scoring 333 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 156.33.
