The left-hander brought up his fifty off 31 balls - his slowest in the IPL - after Gujarat Titans repeatedly tested him with short-pitched bowling.
His innings featured audacious strokeplay against Mohammed Siraj, Kagiso Rabada, Rashid Khan and Prasidh Krishna.
Earlier in the innings, Sooryavanshi smashed Rabada for a towering 91-metre straight six before taking Rashid Khan apart with a slog sweep over square leg.
The milestone added to an already record-breaking season for the Rajasthan Royals batter, who earlier in the evening became the first player to score 500 powerplay runs in a single IPL season.
Sooryavanshi reached the 500 powerplay runs milestone with the first 10 runs of his innings and, remarkably, 452 of those powerplay runs came in boundaries, including 47 fours and 44 sixes.
The Royals opener is also the first batter to score 500 powerplay runs in a single season of any T20 tournament.
He had broken David Warner’s previous IPL record of 467 powerplay runs, set for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016, during his blistering 97 off 29 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2026 Eliminator.
Sooryavanshi continues to lead the IPL 2026 Orange Cap race, having amassed 776 runs in 16 matches this season.
