Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings have faced off 30 times in the IPL, with RR winning 17 of these head-to-head meetings and PBKS coming out on top 13 times.
Last season, RR won the corresponding fixture in Mullanpur by 50 runs thanks to a splendid fifty by Yashasvi Jaiswal and a fiery spell from Jofra Archer.
PBKS, however, did edge the reverse fixture at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur by 10 runs.

Located near Mohali, the stadium, with a 38,000 seating capacity, was developed as Punjab’s modern cricketing hub and has been serving as the home ground for the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League since 2024.
Known for its lively atmosphere and batting-friendly surface, the ground has already hosted 14 IPL matches and has been equally helpful for teams batting first or second.
After the match against PBKS, the Rajasthan Royals will be back home in Jaipur for back-to-back home games against Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans.

Tickets for the PBKS vs RR IPL 2026 match scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, will be available for online booking on the District by Zomato website and app.
Entry to the venue is permitted for all age groups. However, IPL tickets are required for anyone aged two years and above.
To ensure a seamless entry, fans are advised to have their tickets ready before arriving at the stadium. Gates will open at around 4:30 PM - three hours before the match.
The policy states that all IPL tickets are non-cancellable and non-refundable. Refunds will be issued only if the match is abandoned without a single ball being bowled.
