Rajasthan Royals teammates Adam Milne and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will be in opposing squads when New Zealand host the Indian cricket team in a five-match NZ vs IND T20 2026 series starting Thursday.
The New Zealand vs India T20 2026 series will be available to watch on live streaming and live telecast in India. The five cricket matches will be played across Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was a part of the Indian team that won gold at the Asian Games 2026 in Japan.
Sooryavanshi, at 15, also became the country’s youngest gold medal winner at the multisport continental meet.
The left-handed opener had earlier made his T20I debut against England in July, becoming the youngest Indian man to play international cricket and breaking the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing record.
He continued his impressive breakthrough year in international cricket in India’s last away bilateral series against Zimbabwe, scoring two fifties and becoming the youngest man to hit a T20I half-century en route to being adjudged the Player of the Series.
Sooryavanshi has already scored 246 runs in eight T20I appearances and will look to add to his tally against the Black Caps.
Meanwhile, pacer Adam Milne returns to the team after injuries kept him out of New Zealand’s run to the T20 World Cup final earlier this year.
The 34-year-old New Zealand pacer has taken 65 wickets in 56 T20I matches at an average of 24.65 for the Kiwis.

India lead the IND vs NZ T20I head-to-head record, having won 17 of the 31 matches between the sides. New Zealand have won 11, while three games ended in ties.
The last T20 match between the teams was in the World Cup final, which India won by 96 runs.
