Ravindra Jadeja, Dhruv Jurel, Ravi Bishnoi and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will be among several Rajasthan Royals players set to feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 starting from Wednesday.

Scheduled from December 24 to January 18, the Vijay Hazare Trophy is India’s flagship domestic 50-over competition.

The 33rd edition of the List A tournament will feature 38 teams, with 32 sides competing in the Elite division and six teams taking part in the Plate competition.

Jadeja has confirmed his availability for at least two matches for Saurashtra, against Services on January 6 and Gujarat on January 8. The seasoned all-rounder is part of the Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2026 squad.

Meanwhile, Dhruv Jurel, set to represent Uttar Pradesh, former world No. 1 T20I bowler Ravi Bishnoi, who will play for Gujarat and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, vice-captain of Bihar, are expected to be in their respective squads for the full tournament.

The 32 Elite teams are divided into four groups of eight teams each, while the Plate competition features six sides, with the top two contesting the Plate final. The top two teams from each Elite group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

An in-form Sushant Mishra will also be in action for Jharkhand after playing a key role in their maiden Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title earlier this season. The 24-year-old left-arm pacer finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker in the tournament, claiming 22 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 17.18.

Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir will have the services of fast bowlers Sandeep Sharma and Yudhvir Singh, respectively. Shubham Dubey, who has been making a name for himself by finishing well lower down the order, will represent Vidarbha.

Vignesh Puthur (Kerala), Ravi Singh (Railways) and Aman Rao (Hyderabad) are among other notable names set to feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
