Star spinners Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana will be a part of the Sri Lanka cricket team’s bowling attack when they host Bangladesh for a three-match T20 series, starting July 10.
The SL vs BAN 2025 T20 series will be available to watch on live streaming and telecast in India. All Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh T20 matches are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM IST.
The three-match Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh T20 2025 series will be played across Kandy, Dambulla and Colombo.
The opener is set for July 10 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, followed by the second game at Rangiri Dambulla Stadium on July 13. The final T20I will take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium on July 16.
Sri Lanka have pulled off some strong performances so far in the ongoing Bangladesh tour having won the two-match Test series 1-0 and the ODIs 2-1. Hasaranga was instrumental in the ODIs, topping the wicket charts with nine scalps at an average of under 12.
Hasaranga derailed the Bangladeshi batting line-up in the first ODI with figures of 4/10 and picked up 3/60 in the second and followed it up with a 2/35 in the third match. He also became the second-fastest Sri Lankan bowler to take 100 ODI wickets during the first match.
Theekshana, while not among the wickets in the third ODI, bowled a crucial spell of 0/18 in six overs to help defend 285 and win the series.
Both spinners were also key figures in the IPL 2025 campaign for Rajasthan Royals, finishing as joint-highest wicket-takers for the team alongside Jofra Archer, each bagging 11 scalps.
While Hasaranga is fourth in the ICC men’s rankings for T20I bowlers, Theekshana is eighth.
