The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the full schedule of the Indian Premier League 2024 on Monday, confirming Rajasthan Royals’ fixtures for the remainder of the season.

The Royals will play five home games at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and their last two league games at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, their second home ground.

The MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will host the IPL 2024 final on May 26, after a gap of 12 years, post the Qualifier 2 on May 24. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 21 and May 22, respectively.

The BCCI had earlier announced the schedule only for the first two weeks of IPL 2024 from March 22 to April 7 last month. This was keeping in mind the impending announcement of the Parliamentary election dates by the Election Commission of India.

Now that the election dates have been announced, the BCCI has come up with the schedule for the remaining 53 matches that will be held over the next two months. It will culminate with the final on May 26, exactly a week before the start of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in June.

As per the latest schedule, the Royals will face the Gujarat Titans on April 10 and the Mumbai Indians on April 22 in their remaining home fixtures at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and will be on the road before moving on to their new base at Guwahati.

Rajasthan Royals meet Punjab Kings on May 15 before squaring off against the Kolkata Knight Riders on May 19 in the last match of the league phase at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.

The Royals won their first outing against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium by 20 runs on Sunday and will next face the Delhi Capitals at home on March 28.
