Rajasthan Royals pacer Adam Milne has been named in the 16-member New Zealand cricket squad for the upcoming five-match home T20I series against India, starting October 22.
New Zealand Cricket announced the squad on Wednesday.
The NZ vs IND T20 2026 series opener is set to be held at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch followed by a second rubber at the same venue two days later.
Wellington will host the third match on October 27, before Auckland rolls out the red carpet on October 30. The final match is in Hamilton on November 1.
The two cricket giants will be meeting for the first time since India beat New Zealand in the final of the T20 World Cup at Ahmedabad back in March this year.
Following the New Zealand vs India T20 series the two teams will also face off in five ODIs and two Test matches in New Zealand.
Milne earns his recall after shaking off the injury that kept him out of the T20 World Cup 2026.
The 34-year-old pacer has not featured for New Zealand since facing Zimbabwe and South Africa in a T20 tri-series in Harare more than a year ago.
His return bolsters a well-stocked New Zealand seam attack that also features Lockie Ferguson, former Royal Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson, Jacob Duffy, Zak Foulkes and Nathan Smith.
Adam Milne has represented the Black Caps in 56 T20Is and has taken 65 wickets in the format with best bowling figures of 5/26 against Sri Lanka in 2023.
