Few things in cricket are more enjoyable than a fiery duel between bat and ball and Ravindra Jadeja provided exactly that during Rajasthan Royals’ crucial IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.

The Rajasthan Royals all-rounder found himself at the centre of an amusing sequence in the final over after Shardul Thakur thought he had dismissed him.

Off the fourth ball of the over, Jadeja was caught at cover and Shardul celebrated by pumping his fists and exchanging a few friendly words with his India teammate.

However, just as the Mumbai Indians began celebrating, the no-ball siren rang around the stadium.

That immediately brought Jadeja back to the crease and the left-hander wasted no time returning the favour. Jadeja celebrated in his own style himself before hitting Shardul for back-to-back boundaries.

The free hit disappeared towards midwicket for four to bring up the 200-run mark for RR before Jadeja followed it up with another boundary through cover-point on the next delivery.

The RR batter continued the playful celebrations after each shot as the entertaining exchange between the two all-rounders lit up the stadium and in extension, social media.
