Over the years, Rajasthan Royals batters have been part of some iconic partnerships in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The record for the highest partnership in the IPL by Rajasthan Royals players belongs to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who put on a monumental 166-run opening stand against Gujarat Titans in the 2025 season.
Chasing a stiff target of 210 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, RR’s opening pair put on a show for the ages.
Sooryavanshi raced to a 17-ball fifty before exploding into overdrive. He smashed Karim Janat for 30 runs in a single over and brought up his century in just 35 balls - the fastest by an Indian and the second-fastest overall in IPL history.
Jaiswal, meanwhile, played the perfect foil with a fluent half-century. Their stand came at a staggering pace, reaching 100 in just 7.4 overs before Sooryavanshi was dismissed.
The knock also saw Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, at the age of 14 years and 32 days, become the youngest centurion in IPL history and T20 cricket in general.
The previous highest partnership for the Rajasthan Royals was Jos Buttler-Devdutt Padikkal’s 155-run stand against Delhi Capitals in Mumbai in IPL 2022.
