Rajasthan Royals will play Mumbai Indians in their first away game of the Indian Premier League 2024 campaign at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday.

The MI vs RR match on April 1 is scheduled to start at 7.30 PM IST. TheIPL 2024 game will be available to watch on live streaming for free in India.

The Royals continued their unbeaten run at home winning the second game against Delhi Capitals by 12 runs on Thursday. Riyan Parag was the architect of the Royals’ win with an unbeaten 84 off just 45 balls powering the team to a competitive total.

Parag hit seven fours and six sixes to score his third fifty en route to record his highest score in the history of the IPL. Nandre Burger and Yuzvendra Chahal picked up two wickets each to slow down the Capitals’ chase. Avesh Khan produced a brilliant final over to ensure that the Royals kept their successful home run intact.

The Royals have four points from two matches with a net run rate of +0.800 and are one among three teams that have won all their matches in IPL 2024 so far.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians, which lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad last week in a high-scoring game, are yet to open their account this year.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant century against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in their IPL 2023 encounter. His 124, which came off just 62 balls at a strike rate of 200.00, included 16 fours and eight sixes and powered the Royals to 212/7.

Though the Royals lost the match by six wickets, Jaiswal was awarded the Player of the Match for his exploits. Ravichandran Ashwin had picked up two wickets for 27 runs off his four overs.

Sanju Samson, who is 15 runs short of reaching 4000 runs in the IPL, and Riyan Parag have been in good nick during IPL 2024 scoring unbeaten half-centuries in their wins against Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals respectively.
