The BCCI on Monday announced the schedule for Team India's upcoming tour of Ireland featuring three T20I matches, which begins in Malahide, Dublin on August 18. The Men's Selection Committee named a 15-member squad for the series.

After a long injury layoff that saw him out of action for almost a year, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is set to make his return to international cricket. Bumrah will be leading the Indian team, with batter Ruturaj Gaikwad assuming the duties of vice-captain.

The series against Ireland will also see the comeback of another pace bowler, Prasidh Krishna, who missed the entire IPL 2023 season due to injury. Joining him in the squad will be the Rajasthan Royals duo of captain Sanju Samson and India's newest Test debutant, Yashasvi Jaiswal. The 21-year-old had a phenomenal start to his international career, scoring a record century in his debut Test. Having had a career-best IPL season with Rajasthan Royals earlier this year, young Yashasvi will be eager to replicate his dangerous T20 form donning the India blues. Both Sanju and Yashasvi are currently part of the Indian squad in the West Indies for the limited-overs series.

Full squad: Jasprit Bumrah (C), Ruturaj Gaikwad (VC), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson (wk), Jitesh Sharma (wk), Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Ravi Bishnoi, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan
