Five Rajasthan Royals players have been named in the Indian cricket team’s squads for the upcoming IND vs WI 2026 white-ball series against the West Indies.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ravi Bishnoi are part of India’s T20I squad while Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja have been picked for the three-match ODI series.
The ODIs will be played from September 27 to October 3, followed by a five-match T20I series from October 6 to 17.
Jaiswal returns to the ODI set-up having made an impressive start to his 50-over international career. The 24-year-old is one of only six Indian batters to have scored centuries in all three international formats.
The left-hander scored his maiden ODI century against South Africa last December, making an unbeaten 116, before striking 110 not out off 86 balls in his most recent ODI appearance against Afghanistan.
Jaiswal has amassed 285 runs from six ODIs at an average of 71.25.
Jurel, meanwhile, is yet to make his ODI debut despite having previously been part of India's 50-over squads. The wicketkeeper-batter comes into the series after scoring an unbeaten 115 against Sri Lanka during India's Test series victory in August.
Experienced all-rounder Jadeja completes the Royals trio in the ODI squad. The left-arm spinner adds considerable international experience with over 200 matches under his belt. He is approaching 3000 runs in ODI cricket to go with his 232 wickets.
Meanwhile, Sooryavanshi and Bishnoi are currently part of the Indian T20I squad for the ongoing three-match series against Afghanistan in New Delhi. The Royals duo are also in India’s squad for the Asian Games 2026.
Sooryavanshi has enjoyed a breakout year with the senior Indian team after a remarkable IPL 2026 campaign. The teenager finished as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 776 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of 237.30 to claim the Orange Cap.
After becoming the youngest Indian to play international cricket earlier this year, Sooryavanshi was India’s leading run-scorer during their 3-0 T20I series sweep against Zimbabwe in July.
He amassed 151 runs in three matches at an average of 50.33 and a strike rate of 196.10, including a 19-ball 50 in the series opener and a career-best 81 off 49 deliveries in the third T20I. He was named Player of the Series.
Bishnoi, meanwhile, featured in the second T20I against Afghanistan and picked up one wicket.
A former world No. 1 T20I bowler, the leg-spinner has taken 68 wickets in 50 matches at an economy rate of 7.46. He has also enjoyed considerable success against the West Indies, claiming 11 wickets in seven T20Is - his highest tally against any opponent.
