Ravindra Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel, part of the Rajasthan Royals setup in the IPL, will be in action when the Indian cricket team hosts the West Indies in a three-match IND vs WI ODI 2026 series starting on Sunday.
The three matches will be played in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and New Chandigarh on September 27, September 30 and October 3, respectively. All matches will start at 2:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be available to watch live streaming and telecast.
A veteran all-rounder with 210 ODIs under his belt, Jadeja brings invaluable experience to the squad, sitting just 95 runs shy of the 3,000-run milestone alongside his 232 wickets.
Jaiswal, meanwhile, returns to India’s ODI setup having made an impressive start to his 50-over international career.

The 24-year-old opener has scored 285 runs in six ODIs at an average of 71.25. He struck his maiden ODI century against South Africa last December before making an unbeaten 110 off 86 balls against Afghanistan in his most recent appearance in the format.
Jurel is yet to make his ODI debut despite previously being part of India’s 50-over squads. The wicketkeeper-batter comes into the series after scoring an unbeaten 115 against Sri Lanka during India’s Test series victory in August.
India will be looking to bounce back after losing their previous ODI series 2-1 in England in July. The visitors won the opening match before England claimed the next two to take the series.
Shimron Hetmyer, who represents Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, is not part of the West Indies ODI squad. The left-hander will join the Caribbean side for the subsequent five-match T20I series.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ravi Bishnoi have been named in India’s T20I squad for the five-match series that follows the ODIs.

India and West Indies have faced each other 142 times in ODI cricket, with India winning 72 matches and West Indies emerging victorious on 64 occasions. Two matches have ended in ties while four produced no result.
The two teams last met in an ODI series in the Caribbean in 2023.
India won the opening match by five wickets before West Indies levelled the series with a six-wicket victory. The visitors then clinched the decider by 200 runs after posting 351/5 in Trinidad to complete a 2-1 series victory.
