Yashasvi Jaiswal will be back in ODI colours when the Indian cricket team takes on Afghanistan in a three-match series, starting in Dharamshala on Saturday.
All three matches of the IND vs AFG ODI 2026 series will start at 1:30 PM IST and will be available for live streaming and live telecast in India.
Drafted into the squad as a replacement for the injured Virat Kohli, the Rajasthan Royals opener will be eager to make the most of the opportunity.
The first match of the series will take place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala before the action shifts to the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The series will conclude at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Jaiswal heads into the series on the back of a solid IPL 2026 campaign with Rajasthan Royals, where he scored 427 runs to finish as the team’s third-highest run-getter.
His most recent ODI outing for India came against South Africa in December, when he scored an unbeaten 116 off 121 balls to earn a Player of the Match award. The knock also made him only the sixth Indian batter to score centuries in all three international formats.
He has played four ODIs for India since making his debut in February 2025 and has scored 171 runs at an average of 57.
In terms of the India vs Afghanistan ODI head-to-head record, the Men in Blue have won three of the four matches against Afghanistan. One game between the two teams also ended in a tie.
India are also currently ranked first in the ICC Men's ODI rankings, while Afghanistan are in seventh spot.
