New International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh
The New International Cricket Stadium, located in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, also known as the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, is one of the latest international cricket venues in India.
Located near Mohali, the stadium, with a 38000 seating capacity, was developed as Punjab’s modern cricketing hub and has been serving as the home ground for the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League since 2024.
Known for its lively atmosphere and batting-friendly surface, the ground has already hosted 15 IPL matches and has favoured teams batting second, but only slightly.
While RR are second-best to SRH in head-to-head terms, Riyan Parag and Co. can take heart from the fact that they have won all of their three outings at the venue, including a six-wicket win over PBKS earlier this season.
A win in the match will see RR stay back in New Chandigarh for the Qualifier 2 at the same venue on Friday. The IPL 2026 final is scheduled on Sunday in Ahmedabad.

Tickets for the SRH vs RR IPL 2026 Eliminator match scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, will be available on the District by Zomato app and website.
Up to four tickets can be purchased per transaction. For larger requirements, bulk booking requests can be made by contacting bulkbooking@district.in
Entry to the venue is permitted for all age groups. However, IPL tickets are required for anyone aged two years and above.
Additionally, all persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult who also has an IPL ticket for the match.
To ensure a seamless entry, fans are advised to have their tickets ready before arriving at the stadium. Gates will open at around 4:30 PM - three hours before the match.
Once IPL tickets are added to the cart, customers have 10 minutes to complete their purchase.
After purchase, digital tickets (M-tickets) cannot be downloaded. Instead, they will be accessible only in the profile section of the District app.
The policy states that all IPL tickets are non-cancellable and non-refundable. Refunds will be issued only if the match is abandoned without a single ball being bowled.
