Left-arm Trent Boult is one of the most prolific pacers to have fashioned the New Zealand colours. His ability to swing the ball both ways in the most unresponsive conditions leaves batters dancing around the crease. A consistent figure in the Kiwi set-up, the 2015 World Cup saw Boult finish as the joint-highest wicket-taker with 22 scalps. The pacer has featured for SRH and MI in the previous seasons of the IPL. In 2022, his first stint with the Royals turned out to be a special one. Alongside Prasidh Krishna, he formed one of the most devastating new-ball pairs of the season, and unleashed fury on the opponents, especially in the Powerplay. He ended the season with 16 wickets to his name and 3 maidens - the joint-most by any bowler.
