Prasidh Krishna IPL Career Profile & Stats - Rajasthan Royals (RR)

About Prasidh Krishna

Prasidh Krishna, or "Skiddy" as he's fondly known, is here to hit the deck at Rajasthan Royals. The young right-arm quick from Karnataka can consistently bowl at speeds of over 140 kmph and his tall stature helps generate extra bounce even on docile tracks. After starting as a net bowler for RCB, Prasidh Krishna burst onto the IPL scene in 2018, when he was named as a replacement for Kamlesh Nagarkoti at Kolkata Knight Riders. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands, picking 10 wickets in just seven matches. After four seasons with KKR, Prasidh Krishna was bought by Rajasthan Royals in 2022 for a record price. Together with Trent Boult, Prasidh formed one of the deadliest new-ball pairs of the IPL season and regularly used his length-ball variations to trouble the batters. He finished what was a fruitful season for the team and himself with 19 wickets, the second-most by any Royals bowler, and three maidens - the joint-highest in the tournament. Prasidh made his international debut in an ODI in 2021 and impressed with 4/54 - the best figures by an Indian debutant in ODIs.
