Keshav Maharaj is a left-arm orthodox spinner and a right-handed lower order batter. In 2021, he became the second South African to take a Test hat-trick during the 2nd Test against the West Indies. He is the vice-captain of the South African team and plays all formats of the game. He has been picked up by Rajasthan Royals for the 2024 season as a replacement for Prasidh Krishna.
