The 15-year-old left-hander made his international debut against England earlier this month, becoming India's youngest-ever player at 15 years and 99 days - surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's record.
However, the teenager has had a mixed start to his international career, scoring 14, 13 and 15 across three outings, getting off to good starts but failing to consolidate these into big scores.
Twice, his Rajasthan Royals teammate Jofra Archer dismissed him.
But Harare is the same ground where Sooryavanshi scored 175 off 80 balls in the Under-19 World Cup final against England earlier this year - a multi-record-breaking Player of the Match masterclass that steered India to a record sixth title.
Vaibhav also scored a 33-ball 68 against Afghanistan in the semis at the same venue.
The teenager will hope he can emulate similar performances on the senior stage.
Bishnoi, meanwhile, was not part of the original 15-man squad for the series but was drafted in as an injury replacement for fellow tweaker Varun Chakaravarthy, who was ruled out with a Grade 2 hamstring injury.
The Rajasthan Royals wrist-spinner, who claimed 11 wickets in nine matches during IPL 2026 and featured in the recently concluded five-match T20I series against England, brings a wealth of white-ball nous.
Since his debut against the West Indies in 2022, Bishnoi has picked up 64 wickets in 46 T20Is at an average of 20.45 and an economy of 7.58.
In 2023, he even climbed to No. 1 in the ICC T20I bowling rankings after a Player of the Series showing against Australia, where he snared nine wickets in five games at an average of 18.22.
Interestingly, Bishnoi's career-best T20I figures of 4/13 against Zimbabwe in 2024 came at the same venue - a happy hunting ground the leg-spinner will be eager to revisit.
On a broader perspective, Shreyas Iyer will be chasing his first win as India's new short-format captain.
The Mumbai batter, handed the T20I reins ahead of the Ireland series, has endured a testing start - a 2-0 defeat to Ireland followed by a 4-0 hammering in England, with one match washed out.
India, who lifted the T20 World Cup earlier this year, are now in the midst of their longest-ever winless streak in the format.

India hold a commanding edge over Zimbabwe in the shortest international format. The two sides have met 14 times in men's T20Is, with the Men in Blue winning 11 and Zimbabwe three.
The teams last crossed paths at the T20 World Cup 2026, where India registered a 72-run win. India's most recent bilateral visit to Zimbabwe, in July 2024, ended in a 4-1 series triumph.
