Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and in-form pacer Yudhvir Singh have been selected in the 15-member India A squad for the upcoming Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 cricket tournament, which will be held in Qatar, from November 14 to 23.
Both Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yudhvir Singh represent the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Rising Stars Asia Cup, which is being organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to promote emerging cricket talent across the continent, was previously called the Emerging Asia Cup.
The tournament will feature ‘A’ or developmental squads from five full member nations - India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh - as well as national teams from associate nations like Nepal, UAE and Oman.
The India A cricket team has been clubbed in Group B with Pakistan A, UAE and Oman.

At just 14 years old, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has already taken the cricket world by storm following a phenomenal breakthrough season in the IPL with the Rajasthan Royals.
He made history as the youngest-ever IPL player at just 14 years and 23 days, debuting against the Lucknow Super Giants, and stunned everyone nine days later by becoming the youngest centurion in the league’s history.
Vaibhav’s explosive 35-ball 100 against the Gujarat Titans was the fastest IPL century by an Indian and the second-fastest overall, behind only Chris Gayle.
He also scored a half-century against Chennai Super Kings and finished his debut IPL campaign with 252 runs scored at a sensational strike rate of 206.56.
Continuing his remarkable rise, Vaibhav shone for India U19 on their tour of England, where he finished as the top scorer in the five-match Youth ODI series with 355 runs at an average of 71.00 and an astonishing strike rate of 174.01.
His blistering 143 in the fourth match was the fastest century ever in U19 men’s ODIs and made him the youngest player to achieve the feat in the format’s history.
The Bihar southpaw also slammed a ton against the Australia U19 team in Brisbane in a Youth Test match last month.
Meanwhile, Yudhvir Singh has been enjoying a rich vein of form in the Ranji Trophy for Jammu and Kashmir this season. The 28-year-old has already picked up 11 wickets in two matches, including a fifer which helped his team to a famous win over mighty Mumbai.
He also played his maiden Duleep Trophy match earlier this season.
