Legbreak bowler Ravi Bishnoi has been called up to the Indian cricket team’s 15-member squad for the three-match ZIM vs IND T20I 2026 series, scheduled to start in Zimbabwe on July 23.
Though not in the initial list, Ravi Bishnoi was drafted in as an injury replacement for fellow legbreak bowler Varun Chakravarthy, who has been ruled out of the upcoming T20I series due to a Grade 2 hamstring injury.
All three matches of the Zimbabwe vs India T20I series will take place at the Harare Sports Club before culminating on July 26.

Ravi Bishnoi, who scalped 11 wickets in nine matches for Rajasthan Royals during IPL 2026, was also part of the Indian team in the recently-concluded five-match T20I series against England.
Bishnoi made his T20I debut in 2022 against the West Indies and has gone on to claim 64 wickets in 46 matches at an average of 20.45 and an economy of 7.58 in the format.
In 2023, Bishnoi became the No. 1 T20I bowler in the world in the ICC rankings after a Player of the Series performance against Australia. He picked nine wickets in five games against the Aussies at an average of 18.22.
Interestingly, his career-best figures of 4/13 in T20Is came against Zimbabwe in 2024.
Bishnoi will join his Royals teammate Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who recently became the youngest player to represent India in international cricket at 15 years and 99 days, in the T20I squad for Zimbabwe.
