Jofra Archer equalled the record for the most wickets taken off the first ball of an innings in the Indian Premier League during Rajasthan RoyalsIPL 2026 clash against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

With RR defending 155, Archer removed KKR opener Tim Seifert for a golden duck with a seaming delivery that jagged back between bat and pad to crash into the stumps.

It was the fifth time Archer has struck with the very first ball of an innings and the third consecutive time that he has managed the feat in the IPL this season.
