IPL 2025 to resume on May 17; know Rajasthan Royals’ revised schedule

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially confirmed the resumption of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Following extensive consultations with government authorities, security agencies, and key stakeholders, the BCCI has decided to go ahead with the remainder of the tournament.

The resumed IPL 2025 season will feature 17 matches spread across six venues, beginning May 17 and culminating with the final on June 3. The revised schedule also includes two double-headers, both slated for Sundays.

Venue details for the playoff matches will be announced at a later stage.

Rajasthan Royals have two league matches left this season. RR will resume their season on May 18 against the Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur before facing the Chennai Super Kings in Delhi on May 20.
