Jofra Archer, Kwena Maphaka and Lhuan-dre Pretorius – all part of the Rajasthan Royals set-up in IPL 2025 – will feature in the three-match England vs South Africa 2025 T20 series from September 10 to 14.
The T20 series begins at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Wales, before moving to Old Trafford in Manchester and concluding at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. All matches of the ENG vs SA 2025 T20 series will be available to watch on live streaming and telecast in India.
Archer enters the series in red-hot form after a brilliant outing against the Proteas in the preceding ENG vs SA ODI series.
The fast bowler, who was the Rajasthan Royals’ joint-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2025 with 11 scalps, took 4/18 in the final ODI at Southampton on Sunday to seal Player of the Match honours.
It was Archer’s second straight four-wicket haul, making him the joint leading wicket-taker of the series with eight scalps.

Teen sensation Maphaka, meanwhile, has been one of South Africa’s standout performers in the shortest format this year.
The 19-year-old left-arm quick bagged nine wickets in the T20 series against Australia last month, including a record-breaking 4/20 in Marrara that made him the youngest bowler from a full-member nation to take four wickets in a T20I match.
Earlier, Maphaka’s domestic form earned him the T20 Challenge Player of the Season at the CSA Awards 2024-25.
Pretorius, another teenage prodigy, already boasts landmark achievements across formats. He became the youngest South African to score a Test century with 153 on debut against Zimbabwe earlier this year and registered his maiden T20I half-century (51 off 35) in the Zimbabwe Tri-series final against New Zealand in July.
England and South Africa have met 26 times in T20Is, with the Proteas leading the head-to-head 13-12. One game in 2012 ended without a result.
