Coming in at No. 5, with India A on 290/2 after Ruturaj Gaikwad retired hurt, Dhruv Jurel stitched a 78-run partnership with Sai Sudharsan, who scored 168 as the duo helped their team surpass the hosts’ first innings total.
Following Sai Sudharsan's dismissal, Dhruv Jurel put together a 32-run stand with Shaik Rasheed.
The India A captain then brought up his fifty with a boundary before falling shortly after, having already guided his side into a position of control.
This was the second time in the series that Jurel has managed a fifty-plus effort against the Lankans. He scored an unbeaten 141 from 215 balls in the first match.
In first-class cricket, Dhruv Jurel has now scored 2538 runs in 36 games at an average of over 50. His highest score of 249 came in 2022 against Nagaland in the Ranji Trophy.

The 25-year-old has also represented India in 10 Test matches, scoring 478 runs, including his maiden international century against the West Indies last October.
Earlier this year, Jurel enjoyed his most productive Indian Premier League campaign with Rajasthan Royals, amassing 515 runs in 16 matches. His contributions played a key role in helping the Royals reach the IPL 2026 playoffs.
