Right-arm fast bowler Adam Milne has been named in New Zealand’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2026, set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7.
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) announced a 15-member Black Caps squad on Wednesday.
Adam Milne, who was bought for ₹2.40 crore by Rajasthan Royals at the IPL 2026 auction last month, has taken 65 wickets in 56 matches ever since his T20I debut for the Kiwis in 2010.

Adam Milne has been a part of New Zealand’s squad at multiple T20 World Cups, including the 2012, 2016, 2021 and 2022 editions of the tournament.
He has played 11 matches at T20 World Cups and has taken six wickets for New Zealand.
An express pacer, Adam Milne has previously represented the likes of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
The 33-year-old bowler has taken seven wickets in 10 matches during his IPL career.
Overall, Adam Milne has 255 scalps from 222 matches at an average of 23.15 and an economy of 7.87 in T20 cricket.
New Zealand have been placed in Group D alongside South Africa, Afghanistan, UAE and Canada in the T20 World Cup.
The Black Caps will begin their campaign on February 8 with a clash against Afghanistan at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
