Fast bowler Adam Milne has been awarded a casual playing contract by New Zealand Cricket (NZC) for the 2026-27 cricket season, beginning on August 1.
Milne joins Finn Allen, Lockie Ferguson and Tim Seifert among the players handed casual agreements, ensuring they remain part of the Black Caps’ high-performance programme while continuing to feature in franchise cricket competitions around the world.
It also keeps the quartet in New Zealand's selection plans for the upcoming home white-ball series against India in October and November, which will feature five ODIs and as many T20Is.

"We're delighted to add Finn, Lockie, Adam and Tim to our contracting programme for the next period," New Zealand selector Gavin Larsen said.
"It goes without saying that the talent and match-winning abilities all four players possess and we've seen them do just that for the Black Caps on many occasions.
"Their skills are in demand around the world and we see that as a positive as they're able to add to their experiences and bring those back to our environment."
Milne, who was part of the Rajasthan Royals squad in IPL 2026, has made more than 100 international appearances, including 56 T20Is and 50 ODIs.
The right-arm fast bowler was also part of New Zealand's squad for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
Milne has claimed 65 wickets in T20Is at an average of just over 24, including a career-best 5/26 against Sri Lanka in 2023.
