Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have faced off 32 times on the IPL stage in the past. RR have won 14 of the head-to-head meetings while KKR have come out on top 16 times.
The Knights, in fact, did a double over the Royals last season, which included a narrow one-run victory at the Eden Gardens.
Chasing 207, RR captain Riyan Parag scored a fantastic 95 - his highest IPL score - in the match but the Royals ended up losing the thrilling contest off the final delivery.
Rajasthan Royals, however, have won three of their last four meetings against KKR at the Eden Gardens since 2019.

Referred to as ‘Cricket's answer to the Colosseum,’ the stadium was opened in 1864 and has hosted several iconic matches.
The historic ground underwent renovation ahead of the 2011 World Cup and recently hosted several matches of the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Since the inaugural season, the Eden Gardens has hosted over 100 IPL matches to date, reaching the centenary milestone last season. Only two other grounds have hosted over 100 IPL games.
After the match against KKR, the Rajasthan Royals will play another away game against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium on April 22 before hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
It will be the Royals’ first game in Jaipur, having played the earlier three home matches at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati.

Entry to the venue is permitted for all age groups. However, IPL tickets are required for anyone aged two years and above.
To ensure a seamless entry, fans are advised to have their tickets ready before arriving at the stadium. Gates will open at around 12:30 PM - three hours before the match.
