Jofra Archer has been named in the England cricket team’s 16-member squad for the five-match ENG vs IND ODI 2026 series, scheduled to start on July 14.
The opening match of the England vs India ODI series will take place at Edgbaston, Birmingham before the action moves to Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Wales for the second game.
The series will culminate with the third match at Lord’s, London.

Jofra Archer, who was Rajasthan Royals’ top-wicket-taker in IPL 2026 with 25 scalps in 16 games, is currently part of England’s T20 squad for the ongoing five-match series against India.
Following his ODI debut for England in 2019, the 31-year-old pacer has taken 65 wickets in 36 matches at an average of 24.38 and an economy of 5.01 in the format. His best bowling figures of 6/40 came against South Africa in 2023.
He was England’s leading wicket-taker during their ODI World Cup-winning campaign in 2019.
Archer has played twice against India in ODIs in the past and has accounted for one wicket in the fixtures. Incidentally, it was his Royals teammate, Yashasvi Jaiswal, in a match in Nagpur last year.
The pacer has been in good form of late and was adjudged the Player of the Series during England’s Test engagements at home against New Zealand last month.
England have met India 110 times in ODI cricket. The Men in Blue have come out on top on 61 occasions while the Three Lions have won 44 times.
