Rajasthan Royals started as favorites over Sunrisers Hyderabad and they proved to be right. In their fourth match vs SRH, RR have comfortably won by 6 wickets.

Winning the toss, captain Steve Smith decided to bowl first and his decision was well supported by bowlers and fielders. Shikhar Dhawan edged it to Samson in an angular delivery by Dhawal Kulkarni.

David Warner was next to go back to pavilion when he fell short to run and Rahane did not miss the opportunity. KL Rahul was the next one to go when he tried to seek to flick DK’s ball across the line but missed his stroke, he was struck on the pad, well below the knee roll.

Naman Ojha and Eon Morgan added 25 and 27 runs to the scoreboard before they fell victims to RR’s ‘youngest’ player, Pravin Tambe.

R Bopara and AA Reddy continued the SRH innings but could not put a bigger score and ended at 127-5 after 20 overs.

Rajasthan Royals had an easy target at hand and started slow. Just when the openers were about to peak, Samson departed for 26 off 30 balls with RR score - 64/1. Rahane continued his fine form scoring his 14th FIFTY in IPL. Ajinkya Rahane now owns the “Orange Cap” with 155 runs with Steve Smith right behind him – 135 runs.

Karun Nair failed to score big again; but it were Stuart Binny & James Faulkner who sailed RR’s ship to victory shore.

Ajinkya Rahane for scoring 62 runs off 56 balls.
