31st August 2010: RR pace bowler Munaf Patel made a strong comeback into the Indian ODI squad in the later part of the MicroMax Cup Tri-Series in SriLanka. Munaf was the pick of the Indian seamers in the last two games picking up five wickets in two matches. In his first game against the Kiwis, Munaf registered his best bowling performance (7-1-21-3) away from home and steered the Indian team into the finals of the tournament. In the finals against Sri Lanka, Munaf produced another brilliant spell of bowling (9-1-43-2) in tough conditions and also picked up two crucial wickets. All Munaf fans would be hoping that this time around he can keep the good work going for a long time and do justice to immense talent he possesses.
