Rajasthan Royals unveil new Jersey for IPL 4
Welcome Floriana Group as Team sponsor and HDFC Life as principal associate sponsor
The whole country is fast tuning to Twenty20 mode and to add to the frenzy, Rajasthan Royals, winners of the inaugural season of IPL, today launched their team’s new jersey and welcomed Floriana Group as team sponsor and HDFC Life as the principal associate team sponsor for IPL4. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals, unveiled the jersey and presented it to the sponsors Sanjay Jain, Chairman, Floriana and Sanjay Tripathi, EVP and head – Marketing and Direct Sales, HDFC life.
The Rajasthan Royals will play their first IPL match on Saturday, April 9 in Hyderabad and the first home game in Jaipur on 12th, April against Delhi Daredevils.
Designed by PUMA, Royals’ official kitting partner, this year’s jersey is the lightest among the ones used in all the past three IPL seasons. Made with 100% Polyester and lightweight mesh back, the jerseys are made to give high breathability in soaring temperatures. With uniquely styled names and numbers inscribed in Dazzel gold, the royal blue jerseys have cut and sew panels with Dazzel inserts.
Exhibiting her excitement and echoing team spirit Shilpa Shetty Kundra, said, "We are eagerly looking forward to the season ahead and would like to welcome Floriana Group and HDFC life on board with us".
As ever, in his witty style Captain Shane Warne, said, "We are looking stronger and better than ever before. We have the right blend of power, grit, youth, and experience, and we are ready to take the competition head-on."
